Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how PixelPort LLC (“PixelPort,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information in connection with the website migrainecgrp.com (the “Site”) and the iOS application Migraine Tracker: CGRP Log (the “App”).

1. The Website

The Site is a marketing and informational website. We do not operate first-party analytics that collect personal data, and we do not use tracking cookies. If you contact us via email, we receive your email address and the content of your message solely to respond to you.

Any hosting or CDN provider we use may log standard server access data (IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used for advertising and are not sold.

2. The App: On-Device Data Storage

The App is designed so that your health and migraine data is stored locally on your iPhone. PixelPort does not operate a server that receives, stores, or processes your personal health information. We do not have access to your migraine log, medication records, symptoms, or any other data you enter into the App.

Data stored by the App is encrypted on your device using industry-standard cryptography. It is protected by your device passcode and iOS data-protection mechanisms.

3. Optional Features That Involve Data

  • Location. The App may request location access once per log session to fetch local weather and barometric pressure data from a weather API. This request is used solely for that purpose and is not used to track your location continuously. Location is not stored beyond the log entry it is associated with.
  • Apple Health. With your permission, the App reads sleep duration, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability from Apple Health to provide context alongside migraine data. This is strictly read-only. We never write to Apple Health. This data never leaves your device.
  • Care-team share link. You may choose to generate an encrypted, passcode-protected link that allows a recipient to view a read-only snapshot of your data in a browser. This link is generated on your device and transmitted only when you choose to share it. You can revoke any share link at any time from within the App.
  • PDF export. You may export a PDF report and send it via any method you choose (email, AirDrop, etc.). PixelPort does not receive or store the exported file.

4. iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, the App’s local data may be included in your iCloud Backup or synced across your Apple devices via iCloud. This is managed entirely by Apple and subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy. PixelPort does not have access to data stored in iCloud.

5. Third-Party Services

The App is distributed via the Apple App Store. Apple’s privacy practices govern their collection of data related to purchases and downloads. We do not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that receive health data.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through our Site or App, contact us at [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Data Retention

Because your health data is stored on your device, you control its retention. Deleting the App removes the locally stored data. Care-team share links expire or can be revoked at any time.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. This policy may be updated; contact us with questions.

9. Contact

Note: This policy is a template and may not address every jurisdiction or legal requirement. PixelPort recommends having this policy reviewed by qualified legal counsel before relying on it.
