Your migraine diary. On your device. Full stop.
Health data is personal. We built the app so it never has to trust us, because it never needs to send us anything. The diary lives on your iPhone, encrypted, under your control.
Six things that are true about your data.
Not a marketing promise. A description of the architecture.
No account. No email. Nothing to sign up for.
Open the app and start logging. There is no registration flow, no identity to create, no email to hand over. The app works immediately and asks nothing in return.
On-device storage, encrypted at rest.
Your migraine log is stored locally on your iPhone using encryption built with @noble/ciphers, a well-audited, zero-dependency cryptography library. The data does not exist on any server we control.
Care-team links are encrypted, passcode-protected, and revocable.
When you choose to share data with a neurologist or insurer, you generate a time-limited link. It requires a passcode to open. You can revoke it from the app at any moment, instantly closing access.
Apple Health is read-only and entirely optional.
If you grant access, the app reads sleep, resting heart rate, and HRV to add context alongside migraine data. We never write to Apple Health, and the data never leaves your device.
Location is requested once per log session. Never stored continuously.
When you start a log entry, the app may request location to fetch local weather and barometric pressure. That is the only reason location is ever requested. It is not tracked, not logged continuously, not used for any other purpose.
Nothing leaves your phone unless you initiate it.
PDF export goes where you send it: your Files app, email, wherever. The encrypted care-team link is generated on your device and shared by your choice. We have no backend receiving health data at any point.
Share what you choose. Revoke it immediately.
The encrypted care-team link lets your neurologist or insurance reviewer open a read-only view of your data in any browser, without installing anything. You set a passcode. You set an expiry. And when the appointment ends, you revoke it from the app. No lingering access.

Straight answers on privacy.
Does PixelPort LLC have access to my migraine data?
No. Your migraine data is stored locally on your iPhone. PixelPort does not operate a server that receives or stores your health information. The only time data leaves your device is when you explicitly generate a PDF or a care-team share link, both initiated by you.
What happens if I lose my iPhone?
Data stored by the app is protected by iOS device encryption and the encryption the app applies on top of it. Any active care-team share links can be revoked from another signed-in device. If you use iCloud Backup, the encrypted data is included in that backup under Apple's security model.
Does the app sell data or show ads?
No. The app has no advertising SDK, no third-party analytics SDK that receives health data, and no data-brokering model. Revenue comes from the Premium subscription only.
